Thank you for registering to take part in the great Sleep Out challenge! We hope you find the experience rewarding, and we know your efforts will be greatly appreciated by those who are homeless and in need of help.
A few extra details for you now (printable version here):
There will be a special prize for the individual and the team/group who have raised the most sponsorship money. Please try to raise as much sponsorship money as possible in these weeks before the Big Sleep Out (ideally at least £100).
Please use the printed sponsorship form (available to print-out via this website), and/or create your own Justgiving internet sponsorship page for quick and easy online donations by your sponsors.
Whilst you are undertaking your sponsorship campaign in the build up to 15th May, please help us raise awareness of the issues of homelessness and the work of the two Winchester charities we are raising funds for: Winchester Churches Nightshelter and Trinity Winchester. Please contact either charity, view their websites, or contact the central BSO organizing team, if you would like further information or literature to help your campaign.
Please check and printout What to Bring on the Night, and see the present Schedule for the Night (including the next morning, and all subject to slight change). You can also printout a maps here. Please note there is no parking in the Cathedral Close but details of local car parks can be found via the Maps and Car Parking page.
You are very welcome to bring guests for the BBQ from 8pm and various presentations by leading figures and celebrities. Guests will need to leave by 10pm .
If the weather is wet, there will be alternative shelter arranged for sleeping on the night so please arrive at the Cathedral Close for the event whatever the weather.
Please bring your completed Sponsorship Forms and all sponsorship money with you on the night too so that we do not have to chase sponsorship money after the event.
